Each one has its own different spin on the best food to eat, the best exercise to perform, the best everything to help you lose weight.<br/><br/>Well, if you peel away all those differences, what you SHOULD get from each of the programs are medically sensible and healthy weight loss ideas. (If you don&#8217;t find the following points in your current weight loss program, chances are that program is useless.) Here are the weight loss guidelines that you SHOULD find in each of the weight loss programs out there today:<br/><br/>1. Self-evaluation: each program should have some portion that focuses on discovering the source of your weight issues. This can range from genetic to habits based on emotional or mental states of stress. Make sure your program has this aspect because it is important to know where the problem is coming from to effectively fix it.<br/><br/>2. Plan and prepare: as with all ventures worthwhile, it is important to plan and prepare fully for it. Losing weight is no different. Fast weight loss will have a noticeable affect on your body other than just losing extra pounds. So plan ahead to make sure that you focus on and include ways to better your overall health while losing weight.<br/><br/>3. Take charge: for as much as losing weight fast is an ambitious goal, it is also a goal that you need to remain accountable to yourself for every step of the way. Believe that you can change your weight and believe that you do have the self-control and discipline to do it quickly. It is up to you to be focused, while ignoring your environment, which has too many influences that can make you fall off the weight loss wagon. So make sure that losing weight is a top priority for you!<br/><br/>4. Eat more but less (or working out your inner body): your weight loss program should, if it&#8217;s worth its penny, advise you against skipping meals at one point and then gorging yourself at another. Fasting is, indeed, a good tool but only for a very short amount of time, usually only the very first day of a new program. Other than that, it is advised to change your daily diet from 3 square meals a day to 5-6 smaller meals a day broken down. This point is also called &#8220;Working out your inner body&#8221; because by eating so many meals throughout the day, your body&#8217;s metabolism is going to be a lean, mean fat-burning machine! But when you fast, your metabolism will slow down so make sure to keep your metabolism in tip-top condition for your weight loss goals.<br/><br/>5. Eat whole: that doesn&#8217;t sound like it makes sense, I&#8217;m sure that&#8217;s what you&#8217;re thinking. But your weight loss program, whichever you pick, should be focused on eating healthy whole FRESH foods: fruits, vegetables, quality meats and whole grains. By eating more fruits, vegetables and grains, your body is digesting plenty of fiber, which is a great tool for cleansing your body and losing weight.<br/><br/>6. Less is better: a good weight loss program will advise that you minimize your sugar intake. A great weight loss program might tell you to cut it out entirely. Personally, I&#8217;d go with number 2 but I can see how that would be difficult since there are so many foods that contain sugar without being a usual suspect. Keep processed foods away since they are the biggest culprit of excessive sugar intake. Make sure your program advises you against excess sugar!<br/><br/>7. Exercise the body: a good weight loss program should tell you that exercise is a great way to lose weight; a great weight loss program should tell you that exercising regularly is a must! You do not have to join a gym though since there are so many various exercises that you can do either outdoors or with minimal equipment. The important part, whatever exercises you utilize, is that you exercise regularly and consistently, with regular and steady improvement.<br/><br/>8. Maintain sanity: that definitely doesn&#8217;t make sense but think about it for a second. When a new thing comes around, everyone flocks to it and goes crazy over it! Your fast weight loss will be just as special and exciting but make sure that you don&#8217;t go overboard with each program&#8217;s unique guidelines. Stay within healthy and medically advised boundaries with any and all weight loss programs.<br/><br/>9. Set go!: finally, whatever your weight loss program is that you choose, it should motivate you into action! It should get your juices flowing and make you want to lose weight even more. So make sure the the weight loss program you choose is sincerely focused on helping you lose weight!<br/><br/>You are now armed with the most important guidelines that should be found in every weight loss program available today. Be thorough in your readings of these programs and pick wisely! Remember these weight loss guidelines every step of the way to a new, healthy, slimmer you!<br/><br/><br/><br/></div>

She works as a celebrity host for E!, The Insider and Dancing with the Stars, acts as a wife to financial wholesaler Michael Hess and has to be a mom to two year old Josselyn. Not only that but she has recently made her debut on Broadway by playing the role of Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago.<br/><br/>Pregnancy and Getting Rid of the Weight<br/><br/>During an interview on how to loose weight  , Samantha  Harris shared that she had to keep up her weight lose exercise  even when she was pregnant  due to the fact that it was a must for her media profile. She pointed out that she was very dedicated to her lose weight exercise routine  and lose weight diet and has considered it to be a very important part of her life.<br/><br/>While she was pregnant, Samantha Harris still did her exercise routine but this time with lower intensity and a heart monitor and of course with the supervision of a doctor. She believes that this is one of the reasons why she was able to lose fat easily after the pregnancy .<br/><br/>Samantha Harris works out an hour a day, four to six days a week and although there are times that her busy schedule would not allow her to maintain it, she would do her best to make sure that she gets to work out weight exercises even for a short time in order to help burn lose body fat.<br/><br/>She also made sure that she did not overindulge in food while she was pregnant to avoid weight gain. “The only thing I really changed was eating within the first hour of waking up because I was always a late-morning breakfast person and I usually would go a few hours before I would actually have a meal. I think that was the biggest change,” Samantha shared when asked about her attitude towards her dieting during her pregnancy.<br/><br/>Diet<br/><br/>Samantha Harris laughs as she admits that she has a sweet tooth  . “I am a huge dessert fanatic, and I will eat something sweet every single day. So to me that means that I have to balance that somehow.”<br/><br/>She shares that for her weight loss diet  she makes healthier choices now like eating egg white omelets, lean chicken breasts, and salad with low calorie  dressing and brown rice in her meals. She also gave up eating cheese and red meat in order to maintain her figure knowing that the quickest way to lose weight  is to avoid the foods that can make you gain weight for a healthy diet  .<br/><br/>Samantha Harris  shared that she likes to cook but she does not have the luxury of time to do so but she has learned a lot of quick recipes that she can use on her weight loss diet when she is on the go so she does not gave to starve herself. A favorite is the Szechuan turkey burger. “It’s really healthy; chock full of vegetables, no heavy, creamy sauces. It’s really great” Samantha Harris described.<br/><br/>Exercise<br/><br/>A lot of women are jealous of Samantha Harris ‘ arms and she laughs at the thought of it. “I think since I’ve had my daughter it’s been from carrying her around. Even though she’s now two she still wants Mommy to carry her constantly when I’m home, and I don’t turn her down because I want to be with her after having been at work all day.”<br/><br/>Samantha Harris  shared that she is fond of doing weight exercise with free weights and actually takes fitness and weight loss classes when she has the time. She usually does repetition routines with three or five pound weights. Samantha Harris also does flat pull downs and flies as part of her weight loses programs.<br/><br/>She is also fond of doing power walks in the park or up and down the stairs while carrying Josselyn and she does this a lot with her husband. This activity – walking to lose weight – that she shares with her love one has been very encouraging and motivating for her and is her biggest weight loss support.<br/><br/><br/><br/></div>

This pipe dream can unfortunately outweigh the negative consequences. So let&#8217;s examine the downside of dieting.<br/><br/>What Is An Unhealthy Weight Loss Program?<br/><br/>* Any weight loss program that is not nutritionally sound;<br/><br/>* One that works against what the body naturally needs like vitamins, minerals, and a minimum number of calories a day;<br/><br/>* One that requires you to go without eating (for example, fasting or meal replacement drinks);<br/><br/>* One that puts your body into an unnatural state, such as starvation or ketosis.<br/><br/>Your body can only lose a few pounds a week on a consistent basis. If you lose more than that initially, it&#8217;s likely just water loss. So any weight loss program that promises you will lose five pounds a week, or 25 pounds in 3 weeks, is guaranteeing you will be losing water and muscle mass not fat.<br/><br/>Almost every popular weight loss program out there falls into one of the following diet categories: low calorie diets, meal replacement drinks, packaged foods, unbalanced nutrients, and ketosis diets. Let&#8217;s see how they stack up.<br/><br/>LOW CALORIE DIETS<br/><br/>Whenever you drastically reduce your calories, the body enters an unnatural state and its defenses kick in. So when calories drop below, say, 1000 calories a day, your metabolism will shut down in an effort to conserve energy. And weight loss with a sluggish metabolism is very difficult.<br/><br/>Your body will start using muscle tissue to provide energy, which again leads to a decrease in the metabolism. Taken to an extreme, the body will break down its vital parts (such as the heart muscle) trying to meet its energy needs.<br/><br/>In addition to these drawbacks, trying to maintain the weight loss over time is nearly impossible because your body is now used to making do with very few calories. Going back to &#8220;normal&#8221; eating causes the weight to pile back on.<br/><br/>For this reason, low cal weight loss programs rarely work over the long haul.<br/><br/>MEAL REPLACEMENT DRINKS<br/><br/>One of the most unnatural things for your body is to go without solid food, which is what meal replacement plans ask it to do. Some people think that dieting will be easier if they aren&#8217;t confronted with daily food choices and the pounds will just fall off. This may be true while they are on the liquid diet. But what about afterwards?<br/><br/>Where will the good eating habits come from after you&#8217;ve lost the weight? This is something that takes time, practice and knowledge. Dieters need to establish a healthy attitude towards a life-long eating plan. And no &#8220;fad&#8221; weight loss program or liquid lunch can help you with that.<br/><br/>Getting hooked on meal replacements can become a destructive way to view food. It often leads dieters to fear food or binge to &#8220;feed&#8221; their cravings after a long period of deprivation. And that&#8217;s just the psychological side of the equation.<br/><br/>The lack of fiber in such weight loss programs can be a threat to good physical health. And when the body is denied enough solid food, the intestines go into overdrive absorbing calories and nutrients. This helps you during the diet period, but later it makes it much easier to regain the weight.<br/><br/>Another yo-yo weight loss program that hurts you in the end.<br/><br/>UNBALANCED NUTRIENT PLAN<br/><br/>Be cautious about any weight loss program that has strict rules about good foods and bad foods. Sure, high fat and high sugar foods might be considered bad for the waistline, but moderation not abstinence is key to success.<br/><br/>Why? Because eating the same foods every day (say, grapefruit or high protein meals) is going to result in two things: nutritional imbalance and boredom.<br/><br/>All foods are made up of the same nutrients in different amounts: fat, carbohydrates, and protein. It is the right proportion of these nutrients that will bring about weight loss &#8211; not the avoidance of &#8220;bad&#8221; foods and the consumption of only &#8220;good&#8221; or magical foods.<br/><br/>In the world of dieting, no one food or nutrient group is magical. Variety and moderation are the keys to a healthy diet and a successful weight loss program.<br/><br/>PACKAGED FOODS<br/><br/>To stay at your ideal body weight, you have to learn how to make proper food choices. By following a packaged food weight loss program you are postponing the inevitable, and spending plenty of $$$ in the process.<br/><br/>Another problem with this kind of weight loss program is that the foods provided are not always healthy. Read the package label and you will see chemicals, preservatives, sodium, sugar and saturated fats. And when all you can eat is packaged food, how do you plan meals with other people? Going out to restaurants and parties and enjoying family meals becomes a big hassle.<br/><br/>Your weight loss program then becomes a burden, not only to you, but to those around you.<br/><br/>KETOSIS DIETS<br/><br/>Ketosis has been defined as:<br/><br/>&#8220;An abnormal condition marked by excessive production of ketone bodies. Often caused by high-protein, low-carbohydrate diets such as the Atkins diet.&#8221;<br/><br/>Atkins and certain other weight loss programs are based on the principle of restricting carbohydrates to the point that the body enters into ketosis. On the surface, a ketogenic diet seems to work for two reasons: First, you&#8217;ll lose large amounts of weight, which is very pleasing to the dieter. Secondly, you don&#8217;t experience hunger.<br/><br/>But there are serious drawbacks. Your weight goes down due to water loss (which occurs when you restrict carbohydrates) and a loss of lean muscle tissue. This is NOT true, lasting weight loss.<br/><br/>The loss of appetite comes from having ketones building up in the body, which can harm your health. Side effects of a ketosis weight loss program can include fatigue, kidney stones, gout, and muscle loss. The longer you follow such a diet, the greater the risk to your health.<br/><br/>Clearly not a wise choice of weight loss program, not for the short term or the long.<br/><br/>WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM QUESTIONNAIRE<br/><br/>There are always new weight loss programs coming onto the market and going in and out of style. To evaluate if a weight loss program is healthy and sensible for you, ask yourself the following questions:<br/><br/>* Is the plan nutritionally sound?<br/><br/>* Will it help improve my weight, metabolism, cholesterol level, blood pressure, energy level, and general health?<br/><br/>* Will I be eating real food and not have to buy special formulas, drinks, etc?<br/><br/>* Will I be eating a wide variety of foods rather than just a few &#8220;diet&#8221; foods?<br/><br/>* Am I allowed to have some treats and eat my favorite foods?<br/><br/>* Can I eat out in restaurants, have a glass of wine with dinner, or some dessert?<br/><br/>* Can I follow this weight loss program without it interfering with my lifestyle?<br/><br/>* Can I lose weight without feeling hungry?<br/><br/>* Will l develop eating habits for life-long weight control with this weight loss program?<br/><br/>* Is this the last diet I will ever need to finally reach and maintain my ideal weight?<br/><br/><br/><br/></div>

The important thing before starting any diet regimen is to ask, &#8220;Can I do this for the rest of my life?” If the answer is no, then don&#8217;t try the diet; it will only harm you in the long run if you start a yo-yo cycle of weight “loss-gain-loss” again and again.<br/><br/>Quick weight loss diets are not intended for prolonged use. Although you may not notice a problem at first, your body will soon stop responding to the diet and the weight loss will reach a plateau. Quick weight loss diets, say professional dermatologists, often lack proper nutrition and rapid weight loss in itself can also trigger metabolism changes that affect hair growth. As the body adjusts to a lower calorie intake it still continues to burn calories at the older higher level; result: weight loss.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, weight loss plans generally have great results in the short term and the reason for this is that your body adjusts to survive on the reduced calorie intake and at that the point the body has adjusted and will stop losing weight.<br/><br/>When you reach this point, it is generally known as the weight loss plateau, the only way to counter this effect is to alter your lifestyle; changes to eating habits and the type of foods you eat on a regular basis and of course, regular exercise.<br/><br/>The scary thing about this weight loss plateau is that many people give up once they reach it and then see that their weight loss plan isn&#8217;t helping them lose weight anymore.<br/><br/>The problem is if they go back to how they were eating previously, prior to starting their weight loss plan, they will probably become heavier than they were before they started as their body has to adapt yet again, but this time to a higher calorie intake.
