I need a weight loss program that changes my way of eating any thoughts?
There are lots of fad diets out there, I need one that changes my live style but one I can live with the rest of my life and not just one that takes the weight off. I dont want to eat like a rabbit all my life either.

You need to be committed to making a lifestyle change before you even consider trying to make this change. You do not need a diet, you just need to eat more healthy. Stay away from processed foods, sugar, and white flour. eat more vegetables, fruits, and make sure you get enough protein. Stay away from pop, and drink more water.

no need to search for any weight lost program. eat only when you feels hungry but stop eating before you full. fasting is also a good exercise for your stomach.

Do some fun exercises with friends like swimming or tennis. Eat salads, fruits, bread but also allow yourself to eat that one slice of cake! Don’t become obsessed!! Hope the advice helps.

I have struggled with my weight for several years now, and the best results I’ve had happened when I added walking to my daily routine. Last summer I lost 35 pounds walking 5 miles a day at least 5 days a week.
I also just read a great book, “The 3-Hour Diet” by Jorge Cruise that outlines a great eating plan to help you eat better while still including foods that you enjoy.
These are just a couple of things you can do to change your lifestyle to be more healthy. I hope this helps… good luck!

the simple truth is you dont need a “diet.” if you want to change your life style in the realm of food and eating habits then you have to make the conscious efforts to change your lifestyle. sounds redundant but its not. people who lead healthy lifestyles eat right and exercise. sure, the occasional piece of birthday cake may cross their lips but largely their meals are filled with fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and low carb, high fiber foods. you have to be aware of what you are eating–its your body, would you rather fuel it with garbage or clean fuel? this sounds rather difficult but after a period of adjustment, when all the candy and chips and regular soda seem like a dream, it feels good to eat clean. it becomes a point of pride and a source of contentment. it really is true that your body feels better when you eat healthy. so, start simple–get rid of all those junky snack foods. move on from there. it is a process, but if it is going to be a lifestyle change it wont happen overnight. good luck and happy eating!

the new drug that has been put out is “ALLI”-you excreat 1/4 of the fat that you eat when you take this pill with meals.
pamphlets are available to read. If you eat fatty foods you will have physical results from the fat ie… greasey flatluences.
If you eat right you shouldn’t have this problem

At the start of summer, all “junk food” was out of our house, and we started a “boot camp” approach to make major changes in our lifestyle. I bought only fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy with reduced fat, and bread/pasta/rice with whole grains. I used measuring cups or a scale to measure out correct portions using information found on-line, in the back of a Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book, and off of food labels for about six weeks so I could learn to recognize accurate portions of foods. I cooked everything myself so I knew exactly what was going into every dish. We did not eat out at all the first month.
We began taking a walk each morning and evening trying to get in at least 20 minutes total per day and working toward at least one 20-30 minute walk each day. We also started doing high reps of light weights to build muscle tone.
Three months later, we are doing well with our eating habits. We have treats periodically, but are not subject to cravings and rarely overeat. My husband’s blood pressure has dropped from prehypertensive to a low normal. He has lost 30 pounds and looks GREAT. I have lost 50 pounds. We both have more energy and generally feel better.
Feel free to e-mail me if you would like more information or to discuss the specific changes you would like to make. There are some very good on-line tools and educational resources that can help in motivating one and in maintaining the changes.

Just eat right.
It will take your body about 30 days of so to notice the change in your eating habits, but you will loose weight.
Eat a good breakfast. Ceral or toast or eggs and bacon
(Snacks —fruit, raw veggies, nuts……don’t over do it.)
Eat a good lunch. Watch the bread and stay away from fast food.
(Snack –above)
Diner — meat (if that’s ok with you) veggie (i perfer lightly cooked) starch. Again watch the bread and butter, It’s ok just don’t over do it.
(snack)
Reasonable servings for your body size.
Never stuff yourself. When you stuff yourself you have WAY overstuffed your body.
And Drink that water.
Moderate exercise will tighten up all of that aging too

I suggest follow a low-calorie diet which will create an energy deficit by providing fewer calories than your body needs so that the body has to draw upon the energy stored in body fat.
One pound of body fat stores about 3,500 calories, so to lose one pound, you need to consume 3,500 fewer calories. Experts recommend that you eat 500 to 1,000 fewer calories each day depending on your current weight and how many pounds you want to lose. At this pace, you can lose one to two pounds of body fat per week (500 fewer calories per day x 7 days per week = 3,500 calories = 1 pound per week). Exercise, which burns calories, also helps achieve weight loss. You can do swimming, jogging, brisk walking, dancing or go to the gym
